What Our Happy Guests Say…
Susan N.
This house is amazing! We came to Bethel for our daughter’s wedding and stayed at this beautifully appointed home. You couldn’t have asked for a better setting to bring the family together to celebrate this important occasion.
We were welcomed with a beautiful basket in celebration of the bride and groom filled with locally produced sweets and breakfast items. The basket itself was a labor of love. The house was immaculate. It was incredibly well-stocked and totally organized. It was as though I was in my own home. If you went to look for something, it was always where you expected it to be. Not a detail was missed.
Every bedroom had a separate bath and each one was stocked with pretty towels and top-of-the-line amenities, including nice robes. In each bedroom, there was a multi-port charging station on the bedside table, a thoughtful touch that was appreciated. The bedding was soft and cozy. Almost every room had a fan.
The bridal suite was over-the-top. The dressing area had tons of lighting, a make-up table, and 3 salon chairs for hair and make-up. The bedroom was enormous and so pretty which made a pretty setting for the bride and bridesmaid photo shoot!
There was a ton of room for us to spread out and lounge between the living room, family room, office, and recreational area. We arrived on Wednesday for a weekend wedding and a few of us had to work. The space allowed us to find a quiet spot to take calls and set up our laptops. The internet worked perfectly.
The cook’s kitchen had everything you could ever need to entertain a large group. After a few days with 2 dishwashers in the kitchen, I am not sure how I ever got along with just one at home. Every pot, pan, and appliance you can think of was easily found in a cabinet or drawer. The dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and serving pieces were abundant and beautiful. No mismatched tag sale items anywhere to be found.
The “kids” took advantage of the rec room and enjoyed some pretty vigorous foosball, air hockey and ping pong. Young or old, there was something to entertain. It was a wedding event-filled October weekend so we never had a chance to hang in the hot tub. But, we loved the house so much we want to return!
Thank you John & Cynthia for sharing your perfect home with us.
